AB10 , Aberdeen. Office Angels. Our client based North of Aberdeen are recruiting for a Logistics Co-ordinator to join them on a 12 month maternity contract . The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a similar role. Candidates must be available to begin work on a maximum notice period of 1 week. Duties will include: Working with the Hire Department to co-ordinate the shipment of equipment to local and international destinations to meet client requirements and delivery expectations Responsible to ensure goods are correctly imported as per company procedure Develop supplier agreements with approved third party logistics partners Ensure that shipping/freight costs are minimised Produce accurate commercial documentation for all company shipment Ensure compliance with UK Border Agency and other similar international agencies Liaise with Regional Head for third party logistics costs re-charged to the customer where applicable Support the Procurement/Stores Department in the shipping of spares Develop and improve processes for the Logistics function Develop formal import/export processes for all Trade routes Office Angels are an Equal Opportunities Employer.
