This section often handles the storage and delivery of finished goods. Logistic section is also responsible for receiving all incoming materials needed for production. Maintaining of inventory for the whole factory is also under the responsibility of logistic department. With the wide coverage of responsibilities of logistic department a logistic coordinator is needed for flawless execution of incoming and outgoing materials within the company. Warehouse logistic jobs are mainly focused in raw materials availability for the day to day business operation as well as the storage and check out of all finished products of the company. Transportation logistic jobs focused for the on time delivery of finished products to the customers. Logistic coordinator jobs are typically in charge in managing of resources for the entire company or project. These include buying, distributing and allocating of materials during production. Logistic coordinator is required to keep and track the precise records of all incoming and outgoing materials. There are times when manual tasks such as: assembling, addressing, and stamping, arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials might be added to the responsibilities but this might be different from one company to another. Logistics coordinator often require a bachelor's degree in logistics to qualify for a job, although experience in related fields or similar projects coordination can help an individual to obtain the position. Aside from that, logistic coordinator is often expected to have strong analytical and interpersonal skills as well as good problem solving skills. Many companies are requiring that coordinators should be proficient in computers and other special logistic software that will help them track records and keep any other data for materials inventory. It is important for the logistic coordinators to understand the chain of supplies because this will help the company in day to day operation.
