No micro-management, dept worked well with my schedule, overtime available. Coyote values employee opinion as we were the ones doing to day to day tasks. Company events were always fun! Laid back atmosphere and attire. There is room to grow and move up the ladder. Work hard play hard! Office politics sometimes comes into play, but that's everywhere you go. "Good to gain experience" I have been working at Coyote Logistics full-time (Less than a year) Great atmosphere, family like environment, room to grow. Politics, politics politics. If you are not playing politics you will not move up. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on WhatsApp Share via Email Copy Link Link Copied! Coyote Logistics Response. I worked at Coyote Logistics (More than a year) There is a great company culture. I made a lot of great friends that I keep in contact with to this day. Great work life balance. A great work environment doesn't make up for not paying your employees well. They are going to keep having a high turnover rate if you pay your employees barely a minimum wage. Advice to Management. Understand how to identify and retain talent. It my hurt your budget but turning and burning employees is not sustainable. "Accounts Payable" I worked at Coyote Logistics full-time (More than a year) Laid back office atmosphere. They are usually lenient when you're 5 minutes late. Free lunch once a month. Intramural leagues. Unprofessionalism across the board. Favoritism across the board. Broken promises. No real training, you practically have to manage yourself. You get assigned to extra "projects" with no sort of compensation. Favoritism is consuming the office and the good employees are losing drive. Coyote pays well below the median salary. Advice to Management. Stop forming cliques and promoting temps. before the veterans. Enough with the gossip and high school atmosphere. Don't make promises you can't keep. Keep your employees motivated. Do away with the culture/snacks and replace that with increase in pay. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on WhatsApp Share via Email Copy Link Link Copied! Coyote Logistics Response. "Great learning experience, fast paced" I have been working at Coyote Logistics full-time. Very interesting industry. Most people won't dive into the full position and learn what's necessary outside of work. Much like school, if you don't go above and beyond the what is asked of you, then you won't stand out. Doing just the job has NEVER been sufficient enough to be top of the class and from what I've been through in other jobs, including this, the same rules apply. What you put into the position transmits into the level of confidence the seniors/leads/managers, etc. have in you. Management is fun and intelligent. HR has started implementing training programs for the managers to be more versatile with their people, which I hope will encourage the people to be more proactive and understanding what is needed out of the individual to keep the full organism living and thriving. The Execs in Chicago could give more attention to the people that work in Alpharetta. While sales are incredibly important, the lack of communication of procedure to ensure things are done successfully lacks. Thus, if this is done properly, the importance of the individual representative, whether Accounts Payable or Receivable becomes greater. Some employees have a bad attitude about working and expect a lot of things given to them. When I first started working at Coyote, there was a sense of wanting to do more. Now, a lot of employees expect things on a silver platter. There is no want to build upon themselves. I don't like seeing it out of them because I love them like family, but that's more opportunity for others to shine and those are the ones I want to work with. You don't pay more/give more responsibility to the #8 batter in the lineup batting .251 when you have a stud batting cleanup and hitting .331. Advice to Management. Delegate the people to work the war zone and take yourselves out of the mix to work on improving the skills of the employees. This has already started, but ensure to keep this path. Execs could open the pockets for Alpharetta a bit more.
