Coyote Logistics Response. "Great entry level" I worked at Coyote Logistics full-time (More than 3 years) Culture, benefits, promotes from within. Long Hours, poor training for new employees, need to be best buddies with management to get ahead. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on WhatsApp Share via Email Copy Link Link Copied! Coyote Logistics Response. "Good to start" I worked at Coyote Logistics full-time (More than 3 years) Great Compensation and benefits. They really took care of the employees while I was there. Almost everyone is young and its an exciting atmosphere. Change after the UPS buyout. There really did not seem to be a path of upward movement on the carrier sales floor.

"Carrier Sales Intern" I worked at Coyote Logistics (Less than a year) Have your own book, quick training course, lots of assistance from mentors. Cold calling only, too many sales reps. Advice to Management. Tell the job like it is during the interview process. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on WhatsApp Share via Email Copy Link Link Copied! Coyote Logistics Response. "Carrier Sales Representative" I have been working at Coyote Logistics full-time (More than 5 years) Lots of great employees, good culture, good starting job. Company doesn't want to pay their employees and does not value experience. Advice to Management. Pay your people with experience. "Fun atmosphere but does not appreciate employees" I worked at Coyote Logistics (More than 5 years) Fun atmosphere, great employees, lots of growth options, good experience out of college. Long hours, took awhile to hit commission, management is not transparent, promotes based on who you know not what you know, compensation is lower than other companies in the industry. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on WhatsApp Share via Email Copy Link Link Copied! Coyote Logistics Response. "No Excuses?" I worked at Coyote Logistics full-time (More than a year) - Good training program - Casual clothing - Young/ laid back environment. - Incredibly stressful - 10.5 - 11 hour work days - Unspoken rule that you're not allowed to take a lunch - Have to work weekends and teams need to be staffed for holidays (Yes, even Christmas/Thanksgiving/ 4th of July/ etc) - Weekend shifts are often 7 am - 2 pm, which for most companies is a full work day but Coyote only compensates by giving the employee a half day of PTO - Very low pay and new commission structure makes it harder to earn large amounts - No uniformity in this position across the company -- some people are on teams that have shifts and an overall more laid back feel while others are on grueling accounts and work. 10 more hours a week for the same pay - Little to no room for growth (hundreds of fresh college grads hired each summer due to such high turnover rates) - Terrible work/life balance - Coworkers can be very rude to one another over the phone/email which often leads to awkward internal tension needing to be escalated to managers.
