Delivery Truck Driver.

River City Produce has immediate openings for Regional and Metro Delivery Drivers. Class A&B CDL drivers from $600 - $1,000 per week. All depends on hustle, motivation and dedication. Class C drivers from $500 - $800 weekly. The professional delivery driver at River City Produce is responsible for transportation of fresh produce items to and from the River City Dock.The driver is expected to deliver and unload to all River City Produce customers (locally, regionally, school district customers and food service customers) in accordance with established company procedure. Must be available as early as 4:00 am. Must be available evenings, weekends and/or holidays, as required by business demands. Responsibilities and Duties. Assist in loading customer orders into truck/van. Drive truck/van to deliver customer orders to individual customer locations.

Unload customer orders against invoices for accuracy. Respectful interact with customer. Thank customer before departing. Store customer orders accordingly to customer specifications and/or product requirements vs. non-refrigerated. Load and record any customer returns. Collect and record payments from cash customers. Unload returns and store in proper location of warehouse. Turn in all money, paperwork, keys, etc. into office. Qualifications and Skills.

Minimum of 1 year on the road experience. ALL DRIVERS MUST HAVE A CLEAR DRIVING RECORD - NO DWI OR DUI WITHIN THE PAST 13 YEARS. No accidents or speeding tickets within the past 3 years. Working knowledge of safe driving practices and over the road procedures in accordance with DOT regulations. Working knowledge of equipment troubleshooting and vehicle maintenance. Working knowledge and ability to use manual and electric pallet jacks, hand dollies and other moving equipment. Ability to perform general warehouse duties in the areas of shipping and order selections as needed. Bilingual preferred, but not required (English/Spanish) Must be able to satisfactory pass a pre - employment drug screen. Education. High School Diploma or GED Required.
