"Company Great, Manager Lousy" I have been working at Dupre Logistics full-time. Good benefits, lovely people for the most part, in the right area, a great opportunity. Area manager lies about advancement opportunities and takes advantage of employees. Company asks a lot of you, and doesn't often offer compensation when you do extra. "Management" I have been working at Dupre Logistics full-time (More than a year) 7 and 7 schedule, very casual with environment. They like people that will go out drinking with them. "Crude oil driver" I have been working at Dupre Logistics full-time (Less than a year) Decent scheduling, decent insurance, Shell oil would not renew their contract for the upcoming year, Company let us know about 11 days before the end of the year they would be closing the doors in the Douglas and Wright Wyoming area, total of 14 drivers, some of the drivers contacted the company to find out about transfers to other areas, like their operations in Pecos Texas for crude oil, for the drivers That wanted to stay in crude oil, they were told if you came there you would have to pay $100 a day, to stay in their company housing arrangements , which pretty much left most drivers to have to look elsewhere for work, with all this being said they're not very stable company to work for a smaller company would be much better in my opinion, A smaller company would take much better care of their drivers, or at least offer other opportunities to them. Advice to Management. manager positions are only for their friends pretty much , companies they deal with like Shell oil will recommend their friends for manager positions in their company and they will hire them , whether the person is any good or not.
