Advanced Connectek Inc.(ACON) was founded in Taipei county. Set up of in-house molding, stamping and assembly departments to manufacture D-SUB and Centronic connectors. Design, development and manufacture of PCB and Circular Din/Coaxial connector.Design, development and manufacture of PCB and Circular Din/Coaxial connector. Design & development of high density and miniature (1.27mm pitch) connector. Design and development of various types of SMT connectors. Home office and part of overall operation were transferred to current address in Hisn-Tien. Development of the half pitch HPA and HPB series rectangular-type connectors. Hsin-Tien plant getting UL & CSA Safety certificates. Development of Euro DIN 41612 spec. connectors. Working with ACON(H.K.) to expand production capacity. Installation of MCBA System to enhance operational efficiency. Spearheading to get ISO 9002 Certification. ISO 9002 Approval for Hsin-Tien plant by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance. Becoming approved vendor of Motolora in Telecomm (Mobile Phone) connectors and starting shipment. Practice of a new management system from Data System , a software company in Taiwan. Establishment of Golden Orient Investment, Ltd. Outside Taiwan. ISO 9001 Certification for Taiwan. Acquisition of N.T.E, Ltd. (an offshore company) and becoming major equity owner of ACON (H.K.) in order to combine sales and manufacturing in one operation. Set up of ACON (USA) in L.A. area. Participation in International Standard Association to set Mini USB to 0.8 spec. level. Acquisition of Tiddy company, Ltd. (H.K.) to mastermind plating process technologies. Estabishment of Tien-jin operation as a solo proprietor to expand production volume in Telecomm-related connnectors and components. Accommodating trends of Global Logistics and setting up E.MALINK Trading Company as an offshore operation. Became a listed company at Taiwan's TAISDAQ in March. Development and manufacture of active/passive optical components, battery packs for cellular phones. Establishment of Broad Ion Beam Deposition technologies with applications in various optical communication components. ISO 9001:2000 Certification for Shen-Zhen(PRC) & Tian-Tiddy(PRC) - Development of Ceramic Sleeve for Optical Adaptor. Planning a new plant in Su-Chou (Kun Shan) area. Built second plant in Shen-Zhen area.

ISO 14000 Approval for Hsin-Tien plant by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance. Implementing ERP in all ACON worldwide plant sites. Global market introduction of ACON's HDMI connector system. Global market introduction of ACON's HDMI connector system (Certificate No. 1A-258). Continued efforts in "Green Partner" program especially lead-free connectors and components. 1. LED Desk Lamps earned " 2009 Taiwan Excellence Awards", "iF Design Awards" from JUSTLED brand which powered by Acon. Justenergy Technology Corporation was launched to fully develop LED business solutions as a way to capitalize on the growing market for energy efficiency and complementary technologies. In response to the use of green energy, power saving and carbon emission deduction, Yin Tang Sustainable Services Company Limited was established to the environmental sustainability industry. Additionally during the same year, Acon expanded its mainland China market by investing in Advanced-Connectek (Jiangxi) Inc. 2013. The Knowledge Management Initiative has been awarded a Gold Medal in the Knowledge Management Objective Competition , hosted by the Taiwan Industrial Development Bureau Ministry of Economic Affairs . The Plant Engineering Department built a new vegetable brand " ACON PURE" to promote vegetable harvest from ACON Plant Factory . 2015. The Set up of ACON Communication Inc. in Japan. .
