This time Nippon Express transported farmed tuna for halal cuisine to Southeast Asia. The company shipped farmed tuna fished in Japan with halal logistics so that Muslim people can eat safely as Japanese sushi and sashimi! This is the farmed tuna grew by foods complying with the standard of halal. It is over 40 kg in size. How did Nippon Express transport such large tuna, while keeping it fresh, from Japan? Along with the mechanism of Halal logistics, let's see the secret! This is the day of shipping. Nippon Express truck and aircraft container that transports the tuna to the airport arrived at the shipping source. First, praying and religious washing are done for aircraft container farmed tuna, Religious washing is also done on forklifts carrying tuna. After that, farmed tuna packed with ice is inserted to the aircraft container. Since the aircraft container itself has cold insulation function, it can be transported abroad in the same condition/freshness as if it were put inside refrigerator. After that, aircraft container is loaded on the truck and transported to the airport. After arriving at the airport, the container is loaded from the truck to the airplane to export it abroad. Since it is kept cool from the shipping source, it is transported to the destination on a cold condition with little contact with warm outside air.
