I have been working at XPO Logistics full-time (More than 8 years) Opportunity is everywhere at XPO you can transfer between divisions . If you want to relocate you can move with a job waiting for you. Just come to work and do your job and you will be appreciated and rewarded. We still have some upgrades to do in the LTL division as far as IT goes. Advice to Management. Continue to respect employees and keep XPO a union free company. "Great place to work that cares about it's employees" I have been working at XPO Logistics full-time (Less than a year) Employees voices are heard. The CEO reads all employee surveys and takes action on what they say. It is a great place if you want to have an impact. a large company that has a start-up pace and sometimes mentality. Advice to Management. Let go of some control at the top. It is too large a company to micromanage. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on WhatsApp Share via Email Copy Link Link Copied! Lots of support and feedback from upper management. Great team of coworkers. Great opportunities for growth and advancement. New ideas are always welcome. Fast pace working environment can sometimes lead to stressful situations. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on WhatsApp Share via Email Copy Link Link Copied! XPO Logistics Response. "Sr. Director" I have been working at XPO Logistics full-time (Less than a year) XPO is a terrific place to build a career. The work is challenging; the culture is inviting; the hours are long, but productive; and my colleagues are smart and generous. Everyone is rowing in the same direction to help build a great company for our employees and our customers. I'm very proud to be on the XPO team. XPO is a large company, but in many ways, it operates as a start up. There aren't many existing processes or systems. This can be frustrating, but it also provides a lot of freedom to chart the best course, as well as opportunity to create systems where they're needed. "FOS at Nashville" I worked at XPO Logistics full-time (More than a year) Good opportunity to move up if you're willing to learn new roles. Leadership is poor from the top down. Numbers are more important than work environment to the bosses, but that will not excel in a service industry. Advice to Management. Go back to the Conway way--care about your employees and let them take care of the customers. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on WhatsApp Share via Email Copy Link Link Copied! XPO Logistics Response. "AR Analyst - Charlotte" I have been working at XPO Logistics full-time (More than 3 years) PTO time starts day one as do paid holidays and insurance. Vision, Dental, Health, 401k, and now stock options. Great co-workers who are always willing to help. Good work schedule. pay is too low and not consistent with abilities. new hires are walking in making more than some of us who have been here years. management doesn't have our backs when it comes to dealing with other departments. they're always too scared to "rock the boat". No work from home options. They make very impactful changes (like moving us from one location to another) without any heads up or discussion- we found out because there were boxes waiting for us when we came back to work on a Monday). Hard to get promoted or recognition unless you're one of the "favorites". Advice to Management. Keep communication open and honest. Don't try to "Sell" things to us. Be clear and up front. Recognize the work we do.
