24/7 Express Logistics Reviews. Your trust is our top concern, so companies can't alter or remove reviews. Employee Reviews. "Friendly company to work for" I worked at 24/7 Express Logistics full-time (More than a year) great staff and office building. The staff is easy to get along with and the company is a stable company. You never now when it is your time to go, so be prepared. There is very few company perks and the vacation time is slim to none. Advice to Management. Improve your employee relations with appreciation all of the employees. Also improve PTO and vacation time. More bonus and incentives would help improve this as well. Don't let some of the best people that were improving your company go. Wow , where do I even start? The working conditions are horrible If you are not in management or in the office anybody else outside of those walls are considered less than & treated as such. Benefits, promotions, equality. Forget about it. They literally work you like dogs. Seriously if you are considering working here please don't, management is corrupt along with its owner. They're all tynats cracking at the whip. I've never been moved to write a bad review for any company but this company is the lowest. Save yourself the time and look elsewhere . the culture and moral of this company is beyond toxic & fixable at this point. Advice to Management. Treat your employees (all employees not just some) with respect, pay fair wages. These are people not just your little work slaves that you can manipulate to your advantage. The management makes me sick! Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on WhatsApp Share via Email Copy Link Link Copied! 24/7 Express Logistics Response. "Driver Friendly, Great Pay and Benefits" I have been working at 24/7 Express Logistics full-time (Less than a year) They care about us as drivers, it is nice to see a company so different from the rest! You are not just a number, you are appreciated when you do a good job! The pay is well above market value, and even though I am new, I can tell a lot of drivers don't realize how great they have it here. I will never leave as I am so thankful for the opportunity I have been given. Just have to be flexible, hours of the day change, but really nothing else to complain about. "No room for promotions, horrid benefits, zero employee apprecation" I have been working at 24/7 Express Logistics full-time (More than 3 years) If you're looking for a paycheck to cover bills, they will cover that, for the most part. (Read cons) Home daily for most positions, decent home/life balance. Growing company. They have gotten into the rail business sending/receiving trailers from the west coast. This has caused an explosion in the amount of business. Positions vary depending on the route. Some routes are 100% touch to retail stores, other position are drop and hooks. Depends on what you request/get. They will give you a paycheck, but it will not be big. The company is way behind on what industry standard is for the positions they have employee's in. Industry standard is $18+ an hour, company drivers start at $16, but they can't figure out why they are not able to get more competent company drivers. There is no policy on when raises will be given, nor is there one coming anytime soon. No overtime until you hit 60 hours, and this is in all positions, this includes warehouse. Once you get to 62.5 hours for the week, they will cut you off, take 2.5 hours out for lunch (regardless if you actually got one) and keep you under the overtime cap. Medical benefits are abysmal. If you have a family or will be trying to cover a spouse and children, be prepared to give up nearly half your monthly income. The packages they offer you can be obtained cheaper if you get them on your own. They blame this on not enough employee's joining the health benefits package. It's a combination of two things in reality. Agree on not enough employee's, but this is also because the company doesn't help cover enough. The employee is covered, but no assistance with family. Retirement package exists, but there is no company match. Again, better off getting something on your own. Zero chance of promotion. During the company's growing pains, they would promote people from within. Those people either didn't do the job assigned or royally messed up the opportunity. Either way, those people were later released and the company has not promoted from within since then. Open positions are not posted for people to apply for. Don't bother if you hear of something, you won't get it. Do not plan on moving up within the company. Forced dispatch is an expectation. They do not call it as such, but it's routine to get, "since you're in the area". In the area could mean something 100+ miles away. Company drivers have no choice, owner/ops can refuse, but plan on losing some stops down the road or being moved to a different (less desirable) route entirely. 10-14 hour days are the norm for all positions except executive or most office positions. You have to do these days if you actually expect to make a respectable paycheck. Safe driving is rewarded with $50 a quarter, $100 for a full year. The yearly bonus goes up $100 each year to cap at $500 max. You will lose this bonus for any kind of infraction, which is to be expected. No communication to anyone outside the office. You will find out when you are told to get it done. Overall opinion: If you need a paycheck, go ahead and apply. You will get the job, they are desperate for drivers. If you have other opportunities out there, avoid this company, you won't last. This company has no appreciation for the drivers or warehouse. You are spoken to as if you're lower then them. Don't go against the grain, complain, or point out how they continually make the same mistakes. This will be looked at as being combative regardless if you are actually correct. Remember, you are lower then them. The company has forgotten who stuck around during the lean years and got them over the hump. They are currently growing faster then they can hire drivers, but forgot the drivers that got them to the point they are at right now. Dispatch is severely overworked, this goes for both courier and truck side. Dispatch does the best they can with your personal needs, but they can only do so much until their hands are tied. Management, this note is for you. Start changing things and I will change this review. Advice to Management. Remember who got you to where you are. You have employee's who have stuck through the really lean times because they believed it would pay off down the road. Just because a few people in the past didn't work out when promoted in the past, doesn't mean you don't have people working for you now that couldn't be promoted. Don't let a few bad apples spoil the bunch. Start communicating open positions so people could move up in the company. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Just because someone associated with an employee you didn't like in the past, doesn't mean they are like that former employee. They might actually be a hard worker. Equality, equality, equality. Just because you may work in the office, this doesn't mean you are better then the people who work outside or in the warehouse.
