"Top Heavy Management" I have been working at VersaCold full-time (More than 10 years) Paycheque, benefits, down to earth everyday people (lower level and mid level employees), variety of shifts, chance of overtime sometimes in warehouse, some company lunches, mid level management does listen to concerns. Benefits are not competitive but are better than nothing, too many higher level managers/directors, moving away from personal service to big box one size fits all service, not competitive in wages, no real value placed on employee satisfaction, high level management has a direction for making money and bonuses that doesn’t incorporate the lower level grunts doing the work, not many areas for advancement in company, too much money spent on business developments that the new directors put in place to prove themselves that are failures. Advice to Management. Get rid of the directors that know nothing about the basis the company was built on that are only interested in their bonuses and making targets. Hitting the numbers does not mean happy customers or value service.
