Warehouse & Logistics Training. LEARN WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS SKILLS (for ages 18+) Approved by local employers, this 10-week program provides entry-level and career advancement skills for the manufacturing, warehouse, transportation and logistics field. The program is taught by Tacoma Community College faculty using interactive video technology connecting students at the Tacoma and Longview Goodwill Work Opportunity Centers. Classes are kept small, allowing for hands-on support in the classroom. The course includes: basic computer skills customer service work-readiness a general warehouse clerk certificate forklift certification offered off-site, one day only from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m on-the-job work experience completed at an employer’s location and may vary from 3 to 6 weeks long placement assistance. LONGVIEW Aug. 16 or 30 2:30-3:30 pm. >> Program starts: Sept. 18, 2018 Monday – Friday – 8:00 am–12:00 pm at both Tacoma and Longview locations.
