The culture and atmosphere is laid back and I have a lot fun working with my co-workers. All I wanted in a job was to make a healthy living and to enjoy what I do, and I have found that here at IEL. I hear some people complain about the stress or that it may be cut throat, but we are in sales, and if you dont sell then there isnt a place for you. But if you do sell, the sky is the limit, you can easily make $100-250K at this job. You dont get into sales unless you want to make a lot of money, but there is a risk with the high reward. Turnover is very low here compared to other places I have been, it is below 10% right now for the year here. The only people I see get fired are those who are unethical or who are lazy. There is no room for laziness in a sales position, you must be self motivated because you arent going to be micro-managed here. I did hear TQL and other freight brokerages are closer to 75% turnover, so I am really impressed with IEL, I guess this is why they are the fastest growing company in Cincinnnati. Management and Ownership has been nothing but supportive and I look forward to continuing my career here for a long time.
