On April 27 th , GlobalTranz participated in National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. The event allows children to be exposed to the work life of their parents and gives them an early introduction to a typical work day. According to the Take our Daughters and Sons to Work Foundation, this day shows kids “the value of their education, helping them discover the power and possibilities associated with a balanced work and family life, providing them an opportunity to share how they envision the future, and allowing them to begin steps toward their end goals in a hands-on and interactive environment is key to their achieving success.” GlobalTranz organized a series of events for the day, including tours of the office, games, and the opportunity to get up close and personal with a full-size tractor trailer truck – courtesy of Swift Transportation.
