Using different tier underground transport belts you can squeeze 2 lines into one, or make a bi-directional line. Try different approaches to create complex lines. Try to spread out your production or else it will become too compressed and you will not be able to access anything with all the tracks and machines blocking it all up. Don't kill worms - only if they are really close to the resources you want. If you wipe the alien base entirely, they're going to rebuild it soon at the same spot.
