EBOS Group History. EBOS acquires Ventura Health, a retail pharmacy management company representing more than 50 pharmacies across Australia. EBOS Group acquires HPS and becomes the market leader in pharmacy services to hospitals. EBOS exceeds $7billion in revenue. Chemmart merges with Terry White Group forming TerryWhite Chemmart, one of Australia’s largest retail pharmacy networks. EBOS acquires Red Seal, a leading New Zealand natural health products business in key segments including vitamins, minerals and supplements, herbal teas, non-fluoride toothpastes and functional foods including molasses and manuka honey. EBOS acquires ZEST, a leading healthcare communications business with extensive experience in medical education, digital solutions, patient services, strategic consultancy, health service development, research and evaluation. For the first time, EBOS Group revenues exceed NZ$6 billion. Onelink is awarded a contract with NSW Health to provide warehousing and distribution services for medical consumable products to all NSW public hospitals. EBOS acquires 100 per cent of Blackhawk Premium Pet Care Pty Limited, a premium pet care brand sold exclusively in Australian pet stores and veterinary clinics. Symbion Consumer Products and EBOS Healthcare (Consumer) merge to form a new business, Endeavour Consumer Health. EBOS Group attains a 25% share of Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse (GPPW), a successful discount format brand in the Australian pharmacy market. EBOS acquires Symbion, the leading pharmaceutical wholesaler in the combined pharmacy and hospital markets in Australia. As part of the acquisition EBOS also takes ownership of Lyppard, the number two veterinary wholesaler in Australia. Health Support and ProPharma Hospital merge to form Onelink, a new health supply chain provider in NZ. EBOS acquires Masterpet Corporation. Established in 1954, Masterpet is a successful animal care business in Australia and NZ. EBOS also acquires 50 per cent of the Animates pet store group. EBOS divests its portfolio of scientific businesses in NZ and Australia to the number two global scientific supply company based in the USA. EBOS Group revenues exceed $1 billion for the first time. EBOS acquires NZ pharmaceutical wholesaler ProPharma, and third party logistics provider Healthcare Logistics, from Zuellig. EBOS acquires leading NSW-based medical wholesaler Vital Medical Supplies, as well as the leading Tasmanian medical wholesaler Tasmed Pty Ltd, making EBOS the leading Australian medical wholesaler in the primary care market. EBOS Group continues to grow, attaining a Top 50 listing on the NZ Stock Exchange. EBOS takes on more scientific businesses, acquiring Global Science in New Zealand and Quantum Scientific in Australia and expanding its existing Medic Scientific business. EBOS acquires Nature’s Kiss including its hero retail brand, Anti-Flamme. EBOS completes the acquisition of Health Support Ltd (now Onelink). The business provides specialised logistics of medical consumables and pharmaceuticals for a number of NZ’s district health boards. EBOS acquires Medic Corporation – a sales and marketing organisation based in Wellington which specialises in representing medical, consumer, dental and scientific brands. The acquisition transforms EBOS into the largest independent healthcare supply company in NZ. EBOS Healthcare is formed. Representing healthcare suppliers and manufacturers, EBOS Healthcare markets and sells products across medical and retail channels in NZ. EBOS acquires the largest private medical wholesaler in NSW, Richard Thompson & Co, and enters the Australian market as a mainstream medical supplier. EBOS acquires Kempthorne Medical Supplies Ltd – NZ’s oldest medical company. EBOS commences trading in Australia as an orthopaedic specialist sales and marketing company. EBOS Group is born. EBOS Dental & Surgical Supplies Ltd officially becomes EBOS Group Ltd. Early Brothers Trading Co. Ltd and Oral Supplies merge, to provide medical and dental supplies to the New Zealand market. Early Bros Dental & Surgical Supplied Ltd is listed on the NZ Stock Exchange. The company's name is changed to Early Bros Dental & Surgical Supplies Ltd. Early Brothers Trading Co. Ltd is founded. Based in Christchurch, the company sells lamps for horse drawn carriages.
