Indian Navy. Integrated Logistics Management System. Chief System Administrator of Integrated Logistics Management System (CSAILMS) Chief System Administrator ILMS is the lead organisation for all system Administrator located in Material Organisations at various locations in the country and is responsible for promulgation of technical and administrative directives for maintenance and upgradation of the inventory management software of the Indian Navy. In addition the systems Administrator also monitors the functioning of integrated Clothing Management System (ICMS) and Integrated Victualling Management System (IVMS). Some of the Roles & responsibilities of CSAILMS are enumerated below:- (a) Supervise the work of the four local SA’s and issue technical and administrative instructions for general system administration, maintenance management and upgradation at all ILMS centres. (b) Ensure that ILMS is run as per the approval policies laid down in relevant manuals and business rules in force. (c) Determine, execute and promulgate system level Changes consequent to approval changes in material management policies and procedures as well as functional requirements. (d) Arrange and promulgate changes in the system and user documentation. (e) Plan and promulgate schedules for Navy-wide ILMS processes and monitor its execution in respect of Navy-wide consolidation of Navy-wide budget information, categorization changes of suppliers and any other centralized processing required. (f) Plan and execute timely upgradation of computer hardware, network and system software at all ILMS centres. (g) Coordinate conduct of Annual Functional audit and Vulnerability Assessment of ILMS. (H) Render technical advice to IHQ MoD (Navy)/ MOs on ILMS related issues.
