Don’t get recognition for the work you do or your manager will take that and make it their own. Takes an age to get anything passed through top senior management for investoment into site or improvement for colleagues. If your looking for a good work life balance and good salary don’t work here!! Advice to Management. Take a step back, listen to your colleagues and make processes simpler!! Your biggest assets are your employees, treat them right and they will move mountains for you. People don’t leave a job they leave there manager! Lack of flow of information sometimes from upper management. Can seem disingenuous at times. Advice to Management. Better communications; more open and down to earth. Try and understand what employees actually want in their careers and tailor towards that as much as possible per each employee. Company have stopped £130 xmas bonus to shop floor workers. Heartless. They are too quick to stab you in the back. The only way to progress is to be seen to grass on people or sleep your way to the top. Advice to Management. Open your eyes. By stopping xmas bonus you are not just affecting the worker you are affecting the family behind that wage. Stop being heartless unprofessionals. Respect is a two way thing. During the course of 2017, IPL have reviewed many of its terms and conditions. This has meant that some previous benefits, like the Christmas Savings Club have been discontinued, but colleagues still have the opportunity to use the Asda Christmas Savings Card. IPL was delighted that we were able to include a Quarter 4 incentive scheme for our operational colleagues, which saw an average payment of £130 paid to over 1400 colleagues in the week before Christmas. We believe your comment refers to the “Festive Thank You” which gave all colleagues an end of year £50 payment. It is correct that this has been discontinued and has been replaced by an enhanced colleague engagement fund. . More Less.
