"Learn a lot. At a cost" I worked at J.B. Hunt full-time (More than a year) Due to the nature of JB Hunt's business model, where every account functions as their own mini business; operations supervisors get direct exposure to pretty much every facet of the supply chain, from HR management, hiring/firing, customer management, TMS/IMS management, driver route management, customer invoicing, among other various tasks. Very long hours ( 70-75 hours a week). I'm sure not all accounts were as brutal as mine, this was just my personal experience. Advice to Management. Be more proactive in relieving people being overworked and they will stay longer. If your employees feel valued and cared for, most will go the distance to make sure your customer is cared for in the same manor.
