Learning Logistics

Logistics education online. The schools in our ranking were put through a rigorous selection process and then objectively evaluated across 12 unique data points in four different categories: economic value, quality of life, academic quality, and student satisfaction. Subjective decisions were limited to which data points to consider and the weight given to each one. Most students who choose distance education do so because they seek a more flexible schedule. They work or have children and do not have the time to have a set schedule for school. Some prefer to enroll in online programs because of certain handicaps or suffer from social anxieties that make it difficult to attend in-class programs. While earning a degree online originally had a negative connotation, the tide has begun to turn and many reputable online colleges are offering first-rate education to students who may may only be on campus for graduation. Not only has public opinion shifted with respect to online education, but more importantly, so has the perception among educators making decisions about providing online education. The two hardest things for students to decide on are 1) which school to attend, and 2) what degree to earn. With the rising popularity of online universities and online colleges, those seeking higher education have more choices than ever. Others choose e-learning because they simply learn better this way and don't cope well in a brick-and-mortar institution. Whatever the reason, online higher education is a great option for those who want to pursue higher education in a non-traditional fashion. With the rising popularity of the best online colleges it can be difficult for students to find the school that is best for them. With numerous options available and only a small idea of what they are looking for, most students will quickly become confused or simply apply to the first university they find that offers the course they wish to study.
