Others choose e-learning because they simply learn better this way and don't cope well in a brick-and-mortar institution. Whatever the reason, online higher education is a great option for those who want to pursue higher education in a non-traditional fashion. With numerous options available and only a small idea of what they are looking for, most students will quickly become confused or simply apply to the first university they find that offers the course they wish to study.
