"Stay away, unless you have no other choice" I have been working at Logistic Systems full-time (More than 5 years) They will hire nearly anyone. So that's good, if you're desperate. I can't recommend anyone else seek employment here, unless you need a job, any job, or an entry level job right now. If you can be a mercenary, this is best used to get the experience you need. Then move on. If you're not looking for better jobs right away you'll get trapped here like the rest of us. From the Forbes article "9 Things That Make Good Employees Quit": 1. They Overwork People 2. They Don’t Recognize Contributions and Reward Good Work 3. They Don’t Care about Their Employees 4. They Don’t Honor Their Commitments 5. They Hire and Promote the Wrong People 6. They Don’t Let People Pursue Their Passions 7. They Fail to Develop People’s Skills 8. They Fail to Engage Their Creativity 9. They Fail to Challenge People Intellectually Logisys (mainly from the micromanagement of the president) is guilty of each of these. This article sums it up. Don't plan on staying here long. It's hard seeing the few good people who show up leave, but it happens all the time because Logisys can't retain good employees. Pay is very low. Benefits are laughable, the worst I've ever seen. The building is run down, very poorly maintained, and the equipment you'll have to use is just as bad or worse. Using vacation days is a negotiation directly with the president of the company, who wants to micromanage every aspect of the company. Reviews aren't conducted annually, and raises haven't been given for years. Also, the good review found here on glassdoor? That's from the vice president who is making $100,000+. It's not a very unbiased opinion. Advice to Management. The micromanagement and interference from the "president" needs to stop. Managers can't manage with him constantly taking over everything. Address the 9 issues I mentioned. Deadbeat employees need to be eliminated rather than be allowed to hang around for years and years. The reason why there are so many employees with 10 years with Logisys is because they're just hanging out, stagnating. No ambitions to do anything besides coast, and they don't get fired because morale is so low that this behavior is normal.
