Our client is one of the global medical device companies. For their future development plans, we are looking for a: LOGISTICS & DISTRIBUTION MANAGER. Job Description. Reporting to Head of Logistics & Distribution - EMEA, the ideal candidate will be responsible for: Acting as an interface between Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Service, Quality, Finance and Logistics teams; Maintaining accurate inventory management and ensuring physical inventory counting is done in a timely manner; Establishing warehouse standards, procedures, performance levels and documentation requirements; Monitoring the controllable expense budget of Logistics & Distribution and taking necessary actions in collaboration with Finance department; Providing inputs to monthly forecast and designating cost saving opportunities for the organization; Ensuring that safety procedures are followed in the area of responsibility; Ensuring customer satisfaction & on-time revenue recognition in terms of Logistics operations; Giving guidance to coordinate supervisors or individual contributors in the team to achieve departmental targets; Improving skills and competencies of the L&D team and involving in recruitment/re-organization projects; Leading improvement projects to optimize customer satisfaction and leveraged expense costs; Ensuring management of the reverse logistics processes from customers and the field service, following Returned Material Procedures respectively; Managing communication with 3rd Party Partners and ensuring alignment with company compliance standards; Following closely KPI's and individual performance within the team. The Successful Applicant. Candidates should be graduated from reputable universities. Having 8-10 years of experience in Logistics / Supply Chain department is required. Minimum 2 years of experience in team management will be also necessary. Candidates with an analytical mindset, excellent communication & leadership skills and customer oriented approach will be strongly preferred. Having no travel obstacle within Turkey or abroad and fluency in English is a must.
