First students for Kühne Logistics University. Published Thursday 28 October 2010 11:00 am. The new Kühne Logistics University has begun teaching its first 28 students on its inaugural MSc course in Global Logistics. The KLU is based in the HafenCity docklands area of Hamburg, and consists of the department for logistics and the department of entrepreneurship. In the next five years, the university will offer an MSc course in business science, a structured PhD programme, an MBA course and a bachelor’s degree course. There will also be a master’s course designed for those in full-time employment as well as executive education events – one-day and week-long courses developed in conjunction with businesses.
