"More than just Logistics" I have been working at National Xpress Logistics full-time. I enjoy coming to my job every day. The employees are great to work with which makes for a very enjoyable work environment. There is always someone who is willing to listen and that makes problems and issues easier to resolve. Communication is key. Our daily meetings make sure everyone is on the same page and knows what is going on. There isn’t really anything bad to say about NXL. As long as you don’t mind the constant encouragement to work not only as a team but the daily reminders on how to better yourself to become great at your job. Advice to Management. "Love My Job" I have been working at National Xpress Logistics full-time (More than 8 years) I have been with NXL for many years and can say without hesitation that it is a great place to work and I love my job. There is a perfect balance of professionalism and fun – a rare find and greatly appreciated when you spend the majority of your time at work. Simply put, you work hard in order to get the job done, but are still able to interact, laugh and enjoy your co-workers as well as the owners. We are continually challenged to bring out the best in ourselves and rewarded for our efforts. Management is very respectful of differing opinions and open to new ideas, so we are always encouraged to communicate and share our thoughts. The office environment is envied by everyone who visits because NXL is a huge advocate of promoting enthusiasm and positivity. The motivational and inspirational writings on the wall are visible to everyone and are a reminder of their values. Having 2 dogs greet you every morning is just an added bonus and confirms NXL’s openness and forward thinking. I don’t have any cons, but you have to be willing to work hard and be OK with a busy work environment. I’d rather be busy than bored but not everyone feels that way. Advice to Management. Continue to support and encourage us as individuals and as a team because it makes a difference and is appreciated. All the ‘little’ things you do for us, aren’t so little and we recognize that.
