No shortage of work to be done. Mgmt focus on hourly employee development has improved greatly since new CEO was hired. The company is beginning to explore exciting new technology solutions in some facilities. Pay is mediocre. Benefits, titles and pay are routinely re-evaluated and changed/diminished (sometimes with no notice and little explanation from HR on high). Questions to local HR are often met with exasperation and eye-rolling. CI Program features little incentive for great achievement, could be executed more meaningfully. Advice to Management. Temps get lied to so they will work there and quit.They dont care if you have a family and changes your hours all the time.You get 2 10 min breaks and no more than 2hr Ot. They don't pay much of anything and wants you to do everyone job. Warehouse titles doesnt matter you'll never get your work done because your doing others jobs and will get blamed for ut. Advice to Management. Start treating people like human beings and not robots. And increase pay so the turn over won't b high. Poor senior management, no really policies and each manager has the ability to suit his / her own agenda. Advice to Management. VP and above really need to look at staff turnover and question why, I’m telling you that directors are running the business as if it was their own, that’s only a problem when they don’t look at the bigger picture and focus on individual goals. "Human Resources" I have been working at Neovia Logistics Services full-time (More than 3 years) Global Strategic Plan is shared by the CEO on a regular basis, it is doable, and challenging. There are a lot of new people joining the company with the hope that they can be part of the solution to implementing the strategic plan. Checks and balances, and objective accountability are non existent. Senior executives do not interact with employees to learn what is ‘really’ going on, and basic operations are subpar. Except the CEO, does his rounds quite a bit. I think he visits the warehouses too, but I don’t know how often. The proof is in the pudding. So if results are not there, I’m not sure why the same leaders still have their jobs. There are a lot of managers who do not know the first thing about leading, developing, and managing people. There is a lot of turnover and employee morale is low. No bonus program for people who are not at the warehouse or in management positions. Some people get bonuses and do not have teams. I don’t understand that. Advice to Management. Hire leaders, hold people accountable to results, and stop operating by your own hidden agendas.
