Sunteck MoU for Mihan logistics park signed. An investment of Rs1500 crore has been proposed for the project for which the company may take 108 acres of land in Mihan complex. The MoU only states an intention to start the project, the formalities like lease agreement and allotment of land will follow after the company comes up with a concrete proposal, said a source in MADC. An area near the Concor logistics park may be allotted to the company when it comes up with a plan, the source said. Sunteck Group is a major realty player dealing in luxury projects in Mumbai and has also expanded to other cities. Its flagship projects are 1.5 million square feet developed at Central Business District and the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. The company’s project in Nagpur is coming up in Chhaoni. If it materlialises, Sunteck’s will be the third logistics business in Mihan. At present Kishore Biyani-promoted Future Group has a distribution centre in Mihan and Indian Railways’ subsidiary Concor is building another logistics park in the area.
