Trinity Logistics USA became the first freight forwarder to operate a freighter between Bangladesh’s Shahjalal International Airport (DAC) and Columbus, Ohio’s Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK). The flight was operated in collaboration with Emirates SkyCargo, one of Trinity’s long-term partners. “We are happy to see more of our freighters now operating into LCK and taking advantage of our air side terminal and last mile assets,” said Matt Green, VP of Operations at Trinity. Trinity Logistics USA, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Lawrence Samuels to its Board of Directors. Graduating from the University of the Witwatersrand with a degree in Finance, Lawrence qualified as a South African Chartered Accountant and began his career with UTI in 1981. He advanced through the ranks at UTI, eventually becoming the company’s CFO between 2000-2014. Under his leadership, UTI facilitated a substantial growth in revenue, increasing earnings from $700 million to upwards of $5 billion in 12 years. He currently serves as CFO for Mercury Group based in Los Angeles.
