Your trust is our top concern, so companies can't alter or remove reviews. Operations and Logistics Manager Interview. I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Uber (Chicago, IL (US)) in November 2015. Went very well. The interviewers are very young not much real life experience and or industry wisdom. They lack social skills and business acumen. Not very organized and clueless. The right person can easily climb the ladder of success at Uber. Not very diverse, expect your contemporaries to be young white college graduates with little business skills, Not even the token black guy or the token Puerto Rican. Shoot I would love to see a middle age white guy that knows what he is doing. cut and dry, take it or leave it attitude. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Uber in June 2015. The interview process began with a quick phone interview followed by a timed assessment. After I had successfully passed the timed assessment, I was invited to a Happy Hour to meet several members of the Uber team. After meeting several employees and other candidates at a fun event, I completed a written case study/assignment. If I could launch any new Uber platform, what would it be and why? Answer Question. I interviewed at Uber. I applied online and an HR recruiter reached out to me within a few days through email to schedule a phone interview, he called at the scheduled time and we spoke for about 30 minutes about the role and gage interest, past experience, etc. From there you have 48 hours to complete a 2 hour timed analytical test. I found it fairly easy, just make sure you brush up on your excel/pivot table skills, but if you've taken excel courses in college, or worked excessively with excel through work you should do fine. From there I was contacted back within about 24 hours after completing the test and the HR recruiter let me know I scored very well and you move on to a 1 hour phone interview with the General Manager. Make sure you know the Uber business model, know about supply/demand, economics of the business, margin, etc.. this isn't a cookie cutter phone interview. From there I was invited to an on-campus interview which was 4 hours long, 1 hour each with 3 gen. managers, and 1 hour with a regional manager.. once again make sure you know your stuff about uber, they do ask you analytical questions to see how you think and how you devise the answer you come up with. I think your thinking is more important that the actual answer (as long as your answer is logical and makes sense of course). The most important thing is have confidence in your skills, they want people that are enthused and going to be willing to work hard and love what they do, if that's not you you may want to consider another company. Overall the interview process was very positive, I loved talking to the GMs and the interviews definitely seemed more like great conversations instead of your typical back and forth question firing. Good luck!
