" I worked at Logistics Health Incorporated full-time (More than 10 years) The mission of the company is to provide services to men and women who are serving or have served in the military. The work is very rewarding. The organization continues to grow and provide jobs for the local community. The company also provides revenue streams to many small businesses nationwide. Employees are provided unrealistic goals and expectations to work long hours are consistent. Salaried employees are taken advantage of and expected to be available for long hours during the week, weekends and holidays to meet the demands of the business. The compensation does not align with these expectations, their parent company pays significantly more for the same type of work. Advice to Management. Do not take advantage of your employees, appreciate the work they do and don’t hold them back. Recognize employees who work hard and perform well with more than a minimal annual increase. "Medical Service Coordinator" I worked at Logistics Health Incorporated full-time (More than 3 years) Decent pay considering the work (some start at $12-14/hour) Caring team leads and supervisors Great benefits Quarterly employee recognition among peers Occasional out of office perks. Raises are based on performance. So some people may get up to 40 cents after a year, while others get about 10 cents per year. Lots of favoritism shown at times. Bonuses decrease each year. They try to make the environment fun and friendly, but no one cares about speaking perfectly from a script for 4 weeks straight to ace their monitoring score just to get a bonus jeans day sticker - most employees work from home so I don't see how that is relevant. Some employees in other departments are often 'stuck' in their position as they attempt to apply in other departments, get an interview but don't land the job. I have seen many other employees try for YEARS to transfer out of the given department with no luck. PTO is often frozen, leaving employees to work months at a time with no vacation days used, which is needed after all of the mandatory hours that are forced. Hard to get desired shift as well sometimes. May take at least a year for someone to move from night shift to a day shift. Advice to Management. As much as management advocates for 'work/life' balance, they lack the empathy in allowing their employees time off. Customer service department is of course a busy and tightly run ship therefore it is difficult to approve dozens of time off requests at a time (that is understood), but managers should try to understand and abide to 'first come, first serve' on PTO requests. Also, for a military company, they should try to get Veteran's day off as a business holiday for that department. Just a suggestion.
