Able to inspect and diagnose vehicle faults accurately. Inspects, repairs, and maintains automotive and mechanical equipment and machinery as instructed and guided by your superiors. Install, service and trouble shoot Microlise GPS devices in company and customer vehicles. Repair and replaces electrical and mechanical parts. Able to refer to vehicle manuals and follow instructions to rectify jobs. Attaches test instruments to equipment and reads dials and gauges to diagnose malfunctions. Changes oil, checks batteries, repairs tires and tubes, and lubricates equipment and machinery. Examines and adjusts protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices. Performs preventive maintenance (PM) completely as per guidelines/ checklist provided. Reads job orders and observes and listens to operating equipment to ensure conformance to specifications or to determine malfunctions. Key performance areas: Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and best-practices in workshops. Maintain good efficiency (100%), proficiency (125%) and utilization (80%) on jobs performed. Adheres to HSE guidelines and wears Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per guidelines.
