LOGISTICS - WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Navigation. Current jobs. LOGISTICS & WAREHOUSE MANAGER. (Urgent requiement) Our client is a well known wholesale trader, Distributor, Importer & Exporter of Consumer electronics and IT products. They have an immediate requirement for a LOGISTICS & WAREHOUSE MAAGER. · Responsible for Logistics and warehouse operation in Singapore. · Ensure on-time delivery. · Manage logistics and warehouse staff. · Improve the efficiency supply chain processes. · Manage freight forwarders and shipping service providers. · Negotiate price with logistics service providers. · Maintain accurate inventory records. The key areas that the candidate should be conversant is in logistics, like doing STR ( stock take report) able to deal with orders from overseas and conversant with AIR shipment. Able to negotiate best rates with air carriers/freight forwarders/experience dealing with DHL,TNT,UPS etc. Must be confident in dealing with all these air freight companies and get best deal out of them. The candidate must be familiar with WMS / ERP /SAP preferably. Must be confident in using technology in the course of their work. Must have intermediate level in Excel. Also familiar with warehouse duties, like pick and pack, fulfilment of orders, stock/cycle count etc. · Degree or diploma holders in Supply chain or related field. · More than 5 years supervisory experience in Logistics and Warehouse operation. · Willing to travel. · Good interpersonal and people management skills. · Hand on experience in WMS.
